When I got my dress I didn't immediately have that overwhelming this is the one feeling. However, I did feel like I loved it. I had dress envy for sure aha but then every time I'd come back to it after seeing other dresses id still love mine. Sometimes it's a gradual feeling of assurance that what you chose is right for you

That’s a beautiful story. So happy you found your dress! I have no idea where to start. Or any idea what I’m even looking for style wise
I had an interesting dress shopping experience that consisted of 7 people (yes 7!), a crazy grandmother that wouldn't stop trying to take photos of me while putting dresses on (HALF NAKED!!!), and parking lot mimosas in solo cups before appointment #2 to calm me down for obvious reasons (refer back to grandmother taking photos of my in my undies). We went to an off the rack/consignment shop first. I tried on 10-20 gowns and said I liked a few of the options. There were two that seemed to fit me well and I liked the way I looked in them. That being said, there were parts of the dress that I did NOT like (the cap sleeves on one needed to go and the neckline on the other was a little high for me). They were little things that could be fixed. I wasn't sold so we said we would go to the next place. I had four appointments that day. Skip through going to Specs and mixing mimosas in the parking lot, we arrived to Signature Bridal. The consultant gives everyone tags and says "Go pick something that you like for the bride to try on. Don't worry if it's what she said she wants or within her budget. She might find she likes something she didn't think she would!" Everyone tagged, Ulga pulled the dresses, and I started to try on. I went through many dresses in a short time frame (Ulga was very efficient at what she does) and then she handed me a fit n flare crepe dress (what I wanted originally) with lace and some minor sparkle (not the original plan). I put that sucker on and let me tell you: It fit to me in all the right places, was plain like I wanted but had the perfect amount of detail, and it MADE me feel like a bride. I came out of the fitting room to show everyone and could NOT stop smiling. When I stepped up on the pedestal and looked in the big mirror my eyes were watering and when I turned around everyone else's were too. Let me be clear here. I am not in any way an emotional person, but as Ulga said, "You do not pick dress. Dress picks you!" And it did! Here's photos of it. I'm in LOVE! Believe me, you'll know when you've found yours
I know everyone says you just know but it is so true. I only tried on 3 dresses at a local bridal store. One was questionable and I’m so happy I didn’t settle. I ended up finding my dream dress online and when it arrived I put it on and i just knew I would never try on one more. Best advice is if you “think” it’s the one I would just wait until you “know” because you will come upon one that you will never want to take off and everyday you can’t wait until you can wear it on your day. Best of luck!!!
I originally went with my MoH dress shopping and the dresses were so expensive. Then went DB to try on dresses to see what my sizing would be. Then started looking on DB’s website. Found a dress on clearance and bought from online
