What helps you to choose your wedding date was it a special day such as a birthday your first date the first day you met or a holiday or just some day that you actually want to be special

Not around the hall, but we are having a memorial table with photos and a candle. We've lost several important people, His parents, my parents, my grandmother, my cousin/best friend, his two brothers and one sister. We're also having them mentioned during the service.

We both wanted a fall wedding but being in northern Michigan, summer/fall/winter can all begin to blend together sometimes. We didnt want a "summer fall" wedding where it was hotter, so we opted out of September, and we didnt want a "winter fall" wedding with high probability of snow, so no November. October is a busy month for our families but we found a weekend that worked well and stuck with it.

We wanted a Saturday in October. The date didn't matter so long as not too late in October where it was too cold for an outside ceremony.

Our date is Leap Day 2020! I, originally, wanted a fall wedding because I love the fall, but when FH & I realized Leap Day was on a Saturday next year, we decided that'd be such a cool day to get married! We're planning on going on a big vacation every 4 years to celebrate our "real" anniversary! I'm hoping for Australia for our first one! We, also, love people's reactions after we tell them the day we're getting married. Smiley smile

We chose our date based on the anniversary of our first kiss. We were friends for a couple of years before that kiss and it literally changed our lives. Our wedding rings are engraved "10-10 Always"

I noticed a while ago your date is my birthday. It's nice knowing you share a birthday with people who touched others in their life. May it be beautiful for all of you.

We chose our date because it is the night of the harvest moon. Our first dance song is also Harvest Moon by Neil Young.

We are getting married on our 11 year anniversary. When he proposed 6/7/18 I just picked the next time our anniversary was on a saturday. Hence the 2.5 year long engagement haha.

We chose 10/7/17 as it kinda flows well. My hubby is a hunter so no November or late October dates, he did not want a hot day so no June July or August. We both like fall, I guess? He insisted on an outdoor wedding so there goes December through May, lol!!! (We are in MN)

It was my second time at the alter and I really didn't care about the date to be honest.

June 5, 2021 is my wedding date and it is also my parents 50th wedding anniversary. My parents display what a marriage should and could be. They were honored that asked to use their date and I'm hopeful that my marriage will last 50 years + like theirs have.
