So, I've had 3 engagement rings. My first one was a Claddagh ring, and was intended to be a placeholder ring as FH didn't have time to get the custom one that he wanted made before our trip to Paris, which is where he wanted to propose.
Then, my mom offered to give me my grandma's engagement ring, which I love - but it ended up needing quite a few repairs, which we needed to wait on and I still plan on restoring it.
NOW, we got a different and final one, I've been obsessed with morganite and almost demanded it, FH said "no, you are getting a diamond", so it took some convincing, but we finally ordered it and I got it today! 1.2 carat equivalent set in white gold with the halo
