I so regret using the Knot for my wedding website. Unfortunately, it's too late now since the website is on our Save the Dates and invites.
FH and I went to a couple stores last weekend to make a registry. We registered at 3 places and added a variety of things, many of which were duplicates, so that we could later read reviews and pick what we liked best. Long story short, we were nowhere near making the registries public and had some editing/sorting to do.
Today I casually visited our wedding website on the knot, and there is an entire new tab of registries, where all of our registries were magically linked. Not only were they all there, but all the registry items were out on the page, with little 'add to cart' button. It looked like the homepage of amazon. I never linked them in anyway and I still don't understand how the knot got ahold of our registries.
I was kind of horrified. Our STD's just went out, so probably lots of people checked out the website.
