My fiance and I are planning g a sparkler send-off about 15-30 minutes before the end of the reception.

We did a last dance which was about five minutes before the reception ended. Then we went to a bar that was within our venue (a hotel) for our after party and anyone who wanted to could join us.

Where I'm from, grand exits aren't a thing. At every wedding I've ever been to, the bride and groom leave at the very end of the wedding, and sometimes there's an after party. We were the last to leave (along with a few immediate family and bridal party members), grabbing things like the cards/card box and such at the end of the night. We then met up with some other guests for an after party after we changed into comfy clothes.

We're doing a fake sparkler send off because we like how those pictures look! We'll probably do this around 8-8:30pm so that guests that want to leave early still get a chance to see us off. Once that's done, we'll go back inside to party some more!

We get our venue till 11pm, so we don't plan on leaving until then lol...we paid for our venue, so we want to get as much time as we can out of it!
