The dress

Ali, on June 7, 2019 at 11:08 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14
Okay so, I'm a larger girl. I have a 52 inch waist. I'm not looking for a white dress or any variant of white. I am having one heck of a time finding a place that might have something I can try on! If y'all have any ideas on where I might find a cute red tea length or midi dress with a full (think rockabilly style) skirt please let me know! Thanks yall!!

David's Bridal is a good place to look! You can try on samples in your size!

If you’re OK with online, ModCloth or Unique Vintage would be a good start.

I don’t know if they’d have the style you want, and you can’t try it on, but I’ve gotten several amazing eShakti dresses make to my specific measurements and they’ve all rocked! It’s really reasonable for custom made dresses. I’m plus sized and have had no issues. The quality is also excellent.

They have some vintage styles, too!

You might need a separate crinoline or something to get the skirt fullness you want.

Good luck! Let us know what you find! 😊

JJ’s house is an online store that has all sorts of styles and colors. I’m not sure if they have what you are looking for, but it’s worth checking out.

You might try Cocomelody. There was a bride on here about a year ago (maybe more) who got her dresses through them, and the bridemaids' wore rockabilly-type dress. I believe they offer a range of sizes, including custom. I also think they will work with you on a custom dress. Good luck!
