The Dress???

You look AMAZING!! I'm not a girly girl or a dress person...my idea of getting dressed is Jean's and a sweatshirt. For me, i knew I wouldn't get emotional about it so it ended up being the dress I compared all of the other dresses to.

Its a gorgeous dress and it fits you beautifully. You know it's the dress when you feel the most beautiful and you don't want to take it off. It's a real connection, a visceral reaction that you won't mistake for anything else.

Um that is so gorgeous on you. Gives you wonderful curves and you are smiling so big. I think the belt also hits you in a wonderful place at the tiniest part of the waist which helps draw the eye even more. I honestly didn't have a "dress moment" actually. I knew what I wanted (something to dance in, classic with an edge) and I knew my budget. I had found a dress that I liked a lot at one store. Went to a second and tried on a dress that was very similar but just more me. I had compared every dress to the dress at the first store the entire appointment at the 2nd store. When I put the dress on (the one I bought), my mom and sister were silent and my FMIL just started saying "oh my gosh that's it". My mom and sister loved it too. That is how I knew. I have worn LOTS of gowns as I competed in pageants so I didn't expect to have a "this is the one" feeling. For me, it wasn't just about how I felt but also how I looked, how it made me look and if it was practical.

I knew my dress was “the one” when I said OMG out loud and wanted to rush out of the dressing room to show everyone. I was expecting everyone to love it with me but I didn’t care if they did or not because I loved it and my opinion is all that mattered because I would be wearing it. I also didn’t want to take it off. When you know, you know!
