The Black Tux vs Men's Wearhouse

We've had awesome luck with Men's Wearhouse!

FH and his party ordered from Black Tux. There were no issues. My bridesmaid's boyfriend ordered from Men's Warehouse and is going in for alterations today. So far no issues. I don't know if that really helped you. Sorry lol. Maybe as in you can't go wrong?? 🤷🏽‍♀️

We're using Menguin, which is similar to Black Tux. My brother just used Black Tux for a wedding and enjoyed the process! Super simple to send in your information, get a new size, and send back after, as well as the suits looked really nice! My FH has used men's warehouse for several weddings he's been in and hasn't liked it every time. The process is much more annoying because you have to physically go in to get sized, pick up, and return. The one suit he rented was very large and ill-fitting, it looked rather cheap (it was over 5 years ago). The other he got looked nice, but it was almost $300 for the whole rental! We're team Black Tux for convenience reasons!

Black Tux worked well for us, but we were only placing an order for one suit rental. They’ve been having a lot
of issues lately if you go and read reviews or their Instagram comments so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend them despite my good experience.

My husband, the groomsmen, and both of our fathers rented tuxes through Men's Wearhouse and we had a great experience. The groomsmen were located all over the country so it was very easy for them to go to their local store to get measurements taken. The quality was very good too and we had no complaints!

We are doing me s warehouse. My fiancé just used them for a wedding he was best man in and it worked well so he’s using it for our wedding too. I personally think he’s better for the men to get professionally measured.

Black Tux has a reputation for having better quality clothes.

My fiance went with men's warehouse and they had no problems. They even sent him an email about which groomsmen still needed to be fitted.

My brother-in-law purchased a tux at Jos A Bank in their recent sale. They do alterations in house.

My fiance has rented multiple suits through Black Tux, and they have turned out great! I love that Black Tux includes shoes, belt, pocket square, etc. The suits have fit perfectly, and he is already planning to do it for our wedding next year. Black tux also has some really fashion-forward options. Highly recommend!
