It was probably me. I'm older than him, and I knew right away that I wanted to marry him.

I wasn't shy about it, either.

100% me haha. Like Rebecca, I am also older than my FH so I knew what I wanted and was straight forward about it.

I am not sure, I think we both mutually started talking about it, but i was DEFINITELY the one to push it more lmao. I was sending him ring links and hinting about colors for months before the proposal...Smiley xd

Me for sure! We both knew we wanted to get married, but I was definitely the one to get the ball rolling. Couples in Spain often date for about 10 years before getting married in their mid- to late 30s, and I was not about to wait that long! Even the assistant in the dress boutique I went to was shocked that I'll only be 30 when I get married (I'm 29 right now) and kept commenting on how young I was.

Are you originally from Spain? Yes, I visited my friend in Santander in Northern Spain and I did notice that the peoole there take their time. I love cultural differences.

Oh I love Santander! The whole north of Spain is so beautiful. I'm from the US, but I've lived in Spain for five years. My fiancé is from the region of Galicia, where we met. I lived in Santiago de Compostela for four years, and moved to Madrid last year for work!

Definitely him! I was absolutely terrified at the thought of marriage before I met him! I guess he slowly broke me down on the subject 😆😆

I don't even remember lol. I think my wife mentioned distant future things first and possibly the word "forever", but I probably brought up actual marriage first.

My friends find it hard to believe that he did. that was a question on this trivia game my bridesmaids had at my shower and everyone was surprised to know he was the one who mentioned it first. it was because i was so eager to marry him that they thought i was the one to bring it up first

Now that you mention it, you’re so right! I think everyone does kinda assume that.
Who brought up the “m” word first for you Kell?
