I'm sure everyone wants cash for their wedding, and I've read all the blogs and posts about how to ask and they all say word of mouth. I have read a wedding invitation before that asked for cash, and I didn't think it was distasteful at all, but I can't remember how it was worded. How did you/how...

I'm sure everyone wants cash for their wedding, and I've read all the blogs and posts about how to ask and they all say word of mouth. I have read a wedding invitation before that asked for cash, and I didn't think it was distasteful at all, but I can't remember how it was worded. How did you/how would you word asking for cash rather than gifts?

    Maybe its just where I'm from but every wedding I've been to in the past 5 years (10+) have had some sort of mention of a honeyfund type platform or requesting cash gifts to go towards a specific goal. I honestly never even gave it a second thought when I read it hahaha.
