Thanking for money

Thank you for your generous gift! That’s what we said.

You can say something like "thank you so much for your generous gift."

"generous gift" is the most often way if you want to avoid saying money.
You can also mention what you'd like to spend it on example:
Thank you for the money, we plan on saving it and using it as a down payment for our next home!
Those are the two most popular ways to go about it.

"Thank you for your loving support. You're generosity will be going towards...." We liked telling people what the money would be going towards.

If they attended your wedding you can say “We’re so happy you shared our wedding day with us! Thank you for being there and for your generous gift.” Or edit to something that feels more like you.

I just did my cards and said exactly what most people said here....”thank you so much for your generous gift”.

I wrote we sincerely appreciate your generous gift on my thank you cards
