Because of COVID, we only had 25 guests at our wedding but family members not there still sent monetary gifts. I'm the worst at wording things. Any ideas for thank you card wording?

We thank you for your generous gift for our wedding. We can't wait to spend it on/put it toward ____________. We’re sad that COVID didn’t allow for us to celebrate together in person on our day, but hope that we’ll be able to celebrate with you in the future. Thank you again!

Nicole nailed it! Thank them for the gift, mention that you're bummed covid kept you apart but that you can't wait to celebrate in the future! Mentioning how you'll use the gift is always a good thank you tip as well. 💌
