Thank you speech at Reception?

I don't know if this is a thing that people do, but would it be weird if a said a few words of thanks after the MOH and BM speeches at our reception? Did any of you do that? Nothing major, just specifically naming a few people that were integral in the planning process, and also thanking our guests for celebrating with us.
