I was given a surprise wedding shower at work. The host set up a money tree. I definitely want to send thank you cards but have no idea what to say when I don't know if everyone gave a monetary gift or not? Should I just send everyone that attend a card that says "Thank you for celebrating my special day and the generous gift" ? I was a bit horrified that there was money tree. I saw the invitation after the shower and it said that everyone was welcome and there was no pressure to give money. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I was really grateful that I was given a shower. I honestly didn't think I would have one.
