Temporary tattoo station

Stephanie , on September 6, 2018 at 6:44 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 1 7
We are having a get tatted like the bride and groom table with temporary tattoos very similar to two our of tattoos the one on my wrist and the one on his. What do you think is the best way to go about setting up this table? I’ve gone back and forth. I am now Thinking a bowl with alcohol swabs to clean the area, and a bowl with water and sponges to apply the tattoos, and a mini trash can to throw away the alcohol swabs. I also Considered having paper towels for drying purposes there but then I’d probably need a larger trash can. Would cotton balls work to apply a temporary tattoo instead of sponges? Any other ideas on how to set this up?

I think sponges (as small as possible to fit the tattoo) would work great, but mostly i just wanted to say THIS IS THE COOLEST IDEA EVER. You could do some towels to clean up/dry off and then wouldn't need a bigger trash can

Hi Stephanie! I love this idea! It's so fun and adds a personal touch that your guests can enjoy! If you are planning to have paper towels, as mentioned by the previous poster, I don't think you'll need a larger trash can. As long as someone keeps an eye on it, I'm sure it can be emptied if it gets too full! What are the temporary tattoos going to be of? What other fun ideas are you going to incorporate at your wedding?

Thanks! I have A cursive “love you” tattoo on my wrist that is actually my moms handwriting so we will have a cursive love you tattoo and he has a pink nautical star on his wrist so the other tattoo option is the same as his tattoo. We are going to have a photo of us set up on the table showing our tattoos and a sign that says get tatted like the bride and groom. As for other fun ideas, we are not having a cake because we both dislike cake so we are having an ice cream Sunday bar instead. We are also going to be playing the shoe game and doing the whole garter/bouquet toss the awkward old fashioned way. We are also having three parent dances because my mom wants a dance with me too but halfway through each song we will be inviting guests to dance fathers and daughters, then mothers and daughters, then mothers and sons. I’m also wearing sparkly sneakers instead of heels with a princess ball gown and am thinking toward the end of the night i might Change to a little dress with my sneakers to really dance. We are also saying our personal vows alone to each other during our first look and for our unity ceremony we are doing a box with a bottle of wine and letters writen to each other to be locked up for our first anniversary but are making that a part of the ceremony. Many different things, so I’m happy our wedding will be totally unique to our style and have some different elements. What about you?

I've seen ideas on Pinterest and thought it was cool! You can buy prepackaged individual alcohol wipes at any pharmacy (Walgreens, Walmart, CVS, etc) which will be less mess. Just have a small trash can nearby.
