Tell me your timelines

My wedding was 5.5 hours total. Ceremony: 5-5:30, cocktail hour: 5:30-6:30, reception: 6:30-10:30. People probably would have stayed longer if we kept it going. However, everyone has said how much fun our wedding was, so no direct complaints about it being too short.

Mine is 3-8pm. I have as much time as I like but I don’t want a super long event and it’s on a Sunday. We’ve also invited everyone to the rehearsal dinner the night before for more mingling time.

3:00 ceremony
3:30-4:30 cocktail hour and photos
4:30 entrance, first dance, buffet opens
5:15 toasts
5:30 dancing
6:45 cake cutting
7:50 last song and sparkler send off

We had our venue from 5 to 10:30 for ceremony and reception. It was plenty of time. We ended up going to the hotel bar afterwards. Is there a bar close to the venue/hotel?

Our ceremony is at 6 and reception ends at 11.
