Tell me, what is the difference between airbrush and normal Bridal make-up??

Hayley, on November 27, 2014 at 12:47 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 7

I have gotten my Make-up professionally done many times, but never airbrushed, what is the difference? Is it worth the extra sum of money???

Some people really like airbrushed foundation because it has even coverage and a "flawless" look to it. Like an airbrushed photo. however some make-up artists will tell you that airbrushed foundation can also be really heavy and in some cases can increase the look of lines on your face. (I had one MA who really did not like using airbrush on brides!)... my suggestion would be to get a trial run of airbrush, to see if you personally like it. some people do, some people don't.

As a typically non makeup wearer, I loved airbrush! I wore it all day after my trial and it wasn't heavy at all. And it still looked great!

My makeup artist uses Motives Cosmetics Foundation, its an "airbrushed look" but regular makeup. I couldn't even feel the makeup after my trial.

I am having airbrush makeup done. The big draw to me is that it creates a "flawless" finish and its also waterproof/sweatproof/rub-proof on the big day. Its definitely more expensive though, so I'm just doing regular mineral makeup for my bridesmaids.
