Tell me about your bridal party!

Natalie, on November 4, 2019 at 3:15 PM Posted in Planning 0 41

I thought it would be fun to talk a little bit about who we chose to stand with us on one of the biggest days of our lives Smiley smile. Can't wait for all the fun activities with these ladies! Who's in your crew?

Here's mine:

Matron of Honor - my older sister, never had a question about it being her! (lives out of state)

______________________________________________________

BM 2 - 5 my four best friends (lives in my city)

______________________________________________________

BM 6 & 7 - Two of my fiance's best friends he's known since middle school, we've gotten very close ever since he and I started dating (live in Houston a few hours away)

That sounds so fun! I can't wait until it's closer to my wedding and we can all do things together as a group like shop & bach party. I'm really looking forward to getting ready the morning of the wedding with all of them

My Maid of Honor will be my little sister. She will by 17 next year when we get married.

I will also have a Best Lady, who is my best friend of 17 years.

BM 3 is my best friend from college and former roommate.

BM 4 is my little cousin that I lived with growing up. She is like a sister.

BM 5 is another cousin that was probably my first best friend. We are the same age.

BM 6 is my FH's younger sister. She and I have grown really close over the past year, and I consider her to be one of my closest friends and one of the strongest women in my life.

My 7th attendant will actually be bridesman. He is my younger cousin, brother of BM 4, that is also very much like a younger brother to me. He will escort the two flower girls down the aisle.

My FH will have his 12 year old son as his Best Man #1 who will enter and stand with him.

My FH Best Man #2 will be his younger brother and lifelong best friend.

Groomsmen 3 - 6 will be long-time very close friends of my FH.

Groomsmen #7 will be my FH's BIL, the husband of his older sister. His older sister will be somewhat of a co-officiant for our wedding.

I love that you are still able to have your MOH present even though she will physically be far away. That's incredible, and it's so wonderful of you to still honor her in that way.

I'm so glad your MOH still gets to "be there"! That's very special and I'm sure you both wish she could be there in person but it's great she still gets to see everything Smiley smile

My Maid of Honor was my friend who I've known since 1st grade and who convinced me to set up an OkCupid account which is where H and I met. Of my friends she's the one who feels the most like a friend to both me and H so that's why I picked her for the role.

Three of my bridesmaids were friends from school (elementary - high school) and the friends I've kept in touch with the most. Then SIL was also a bridesmaid.
