Team No Sleep!

We are just over 21 days out from the wedding and my head is starting to fill with all of the last minute things we need to do. I'll be almost asleep then I'll remember we need to sort through what photos we want at the reception, or I'll be asleep then wake up reminding myself to add picture ideas to our "must have" list. Anyone else finding themselves not sleeping as much as they want as the wedding day gets closer?

FH & I are going up to KS to visit his family for 5 days, and I've told myself I'm going to set aside as much wedding stuff as I can, hopefully that will help!

    Not quite. But I would suggest keeping a small pad handy at all times to prevent mental fatigue trying to remember everything.

    Yes, I am 60 days out and am already experiencing this so I can't imagine how you're feeling. One piece of advice I was given is to write out a list of everything you can think of that you need, then sort it from most necessary to least necessary. For instance, at the top of my most necessary list is to finish paying the venue. At the bottom is getting my nails done professionally. Try to accomplish things from the top of the list down. You won't stress about the smaller things so much when you see how unimportant they are to the day as a whole.

    I keep a pad at my desk at all times to write down new ideas so nothing gets forgotten. Then I put it in my planner and the notes of my phone. I'm getting sleep, but I also just keep putting off things I don't want to do like finishing the guest book box and sign, painting cake topper, ordering hair piece etc. lol I'm going to be in big trouble scrambling in a month.

    That's smart! Thankfully, most of our big stuff is done, but it will definitely be helpful to see what vendors we have left to pay!

    My nails will probably also be at the bottom as they're a want but not a need haha

    I definitely do put in my phone anything I think of randomly, it's so handy! You just reminded me I still need to find a card box haha thanks!

    So I'm a HUGE offender of this, but I've read one of the worst things you can do (for sleep) is look at your phone when you get up during the night. Maybe a notepad as suggested above would be good? Just want you to be well-rested for your wedding! Haha

    I am so glad I'm not the only one doing this- I am definitely starting to not sleep as well. I am NOT a night owl at all- but lately I have been! I think between wedding and getting ready to start a new teaching job my brain will not let itself shut down to rest.

    24 days- then I'm going to sleep like a baby.

    I got dizzy/overheated at work last night, had to go home, had a sore throat all day today, and slept most of it.


    This is because I hadn't taken a day off of work/wedding planning/life in over a month, and have not been sleeping well.


    So, totally feel you, and please take care of yourself.
