Tealight candles

Candle holders are often made of glass. I have never heard of one cracking from the heat of a tealight. Are you DIYing it with improvised candle holders or are you concerned about ones sold specifically for this purpose?

My venue only allows battery candles. Found that out after I purchased floating and tea lights.

It’s depends on the glass of the candle holder and if it’s cheap, it might.
I bought some and tested for several hours to make sure before I bought more.

It'll depend on a lot of things, including ambient temperature. You could set up a simulation with the candles and glass you'll be using (like others have said, glass is made differently) and the approximate temperature. Do it in a large container in case of broken glass. Also make sure that your venue allows flames, many don't.
