I haven't seen this posted and thought it might help someone. August 4-6 is tax free weekend in South Carolina. Browsing the list, I noticed that bridal gowns and veils, formal clothing, and tuxedos are included (must be purchased, rentals are not exempt). The link provided has lists of all exempt and non-exempt items for clothing and accessories, school supplies and technology, and dorm and home.
