Tattoos and Wedding Dresses

I didn't want to cover mine! :+)

You can barely see my rib tattoo out of the top of my bodice and then I have one on my wrist. I don't plan on covering. They're part of my personal style and I identify with them.

One of mine is on my upper back/ shoulders. I'm not covering it because it's our sons' hand and footprints. The rest of them are covered just because of where they are placed

They're part of who you are. Why would you cover them up?

Mine will all be visible.

I miiiiiiiiiiight cover mine-if I do I'll use my Kat Von D lock it foundation.

I have 4 tattoos and only one will be showing and that is the one for my dad who passed away 6 years ago.

The idea of covering mine appeal to me because I don't want people that have never seen them before focus on them and not me in my dress. But covering them doesn't feel quite right either. So I'm still on the fence. When I go dress shopping I'll see what I want to do.

All tattoos on me, FH and MOHs/BMs will be visible. I personally think that if tattoos are to be covered then a dress should be picked that will cover them up. Asking someone to cover up a tattoo is rude.

If you have tattoos you should rock them!!

I'd never cover mine. I'm sure my mother will have a different opinion, but it's our wedding and most people already know they exist - so what's the point in hiding them? There is one on my left wrist I'd consider covering, simply because it's on my left arm and will be very visible in pictures and I don't want it to distract from my ring(s). But that's all.

I am not covering mine. Some of them will be covered because of placement, but the ones that are visible I will not hide with makeup. They are a part of my body and they all mean something to me.

Not covering mine at all. I did think about cover one of mine that I don't care for and haven't gotten it redone yet but opted not to worry about it

I believe that if you are getting married in a church, I would cover it up. I have a tat on my shoulder, but we are having an outside ceremony, so I plan to actually touch it up before the wedding so it looks brand new.
