Tattooed brides, let me see your dresses!

I have tried on some gorgeous dresses but I tend to get this feeling that my tattoos clash with some of the designs and styles. Anyone else have this issue? I feel the most beautiful in solid white, simple dresses. I have vibrant color tattoos, so I typically wear solid earth toned clothing on the regular.
Interested in seeing what my fellow inked brides have chosen for their dresses! Here’s a photo of me (not in a wedding dress) so you can see what I mean by vibrant tattoos, since it’s this one in particular that causes the “clash” i keep running into.

    I love your tattoos! I didn’t even think of it went with my dress until just now! I’ve had my tattoos for a very long time and forget they’re even there anymore. I think it would just be more complicated to try to find a dress to match my tattoos. I just don’t care anymore with all the stress of wedding planning 😂 no one will notice or care anyway but me

    Your dress is gorgeous!!!! 😍 So are your tattoos and they don’t look like they clash to me! Maybe I’m just crazy when It comes to mine lol I’ve had this one for over 10 years and I forget about It most of the time too, but with some of the dresses I put on I feel like things look too busy on me!

    I think your tattoos are beautiful. I honestly wouldn't stress about finding something that "doesn't clash" with your tattoos - they are basically your skin, just more colorful. The subject matter also appears to be flowers, which I think go with anything, but perhaps I'm just an old girly fuddyduddy.

    That said, I also really do love the classic look of a simple white dress, and feel like that would look very beautiful with your ink and your overall aesthetic (at least from the photo you shared.) Is the issue that you want something more elaborate?

    I don't have any tattoos, so I can't be of help here, just wanted to chime in because while I don't have any myself, I love them.

    I always thought I wanted a more elaborate dress with a lot of lace details but I feel like they don’t compliment me well. Here are some pictures of a few dresses on me so you can get an idea of what I mean (they are not all wedding dresses but a visual helps!).     I really like the last photo you posted! It looks very flattering on you, especially the neckline. But either way, I think you should ultimately get what you like best and not worry much about the tattoos. My dress is an ivory ball gown with a ton of appliqués and lace details and somehow it doesn’t clash with my tattoos. In the end, the tattoos are a beautiful part of our bodies so we should embrace them and not care what anyone else thinks 💖

    I think it may be the neckline, as I think the most flattering of the necklines for you is the off-shoulder.

    I'm generally biased toward simple dresses, though, so I also like the unadorned - but I think that off-shoulder neckline would look just as lovely on you with lace or other embellishments! Smiley smile

    That last dress, the off the shoulder one, is absolutely beautiful on you! And I agree I like the look of the more solid dresses. Though I have to say, my eye didn’t immediately go to your tattoos in any of the photos!

    I guess it’s my own self criticism that gets in the way with feeling like certain dresses are clashing with my tattoo. I agree with you, I love my tattoos and everyone knows I have them...they are definitely something we should embrace! ☺️
    Also, super jealous that you can pull off the ball gown! I’m short so they look really goofy on me!

    I love the off the shoulder look too, definitely my favorite neckline! I have plenty of time hunt for dresses....though I’ll probably stick to the unadorned, simple styles!

    That’s so funny you said that because I’m 5’3 and somehow it worked out with the ball gown! I got it hemmed and have 4 inch heels. No matter what you decide, you’ll look beautiful on your special day!!! 🤗

    Tattooed brides, let me see your dresses! 55’3” over here and I had my ball gown dress. The thin straps definitely irritated my shoulders though by the end of the night trying to hold up my boobs 😂 I think you should pick what you feel comfortable in! If the lace calls to you, get it! But I agree with other posters, the 4th one is very flattering on you!!

    The off the shoulder ones are my favorite. They don't break up the tattoo on your shoulder and the neckline is just so flattering on you
