Tastings

How far ahead is everyone doing their tastings? My venue is all-inclusive and says that we should be doing our tasting in March for our June wedding. I can’t help but feel this is cutting it kind of close (especially if I want to order invitations...).

Our venue recommends 6-8 months in advance. We will have ours 8 months prior.

I’m sure every caterer is different! We are getting married in June and we just booked our tasting for the end of this month.

We're doing ours in mid-January, 9 months out. Our caterer recommended doing it in Jan/Feb not only for our timeline, but because it's their slow season (so they have an easier time of fitting you in). I don't see why you couldn't do yours a little earlier to give you peace of mind and work with the caterer's schedule a little better.
