Tasting is today, what to expect?

It certainly would depend on your caterer, but our tasting left us full like a meal! We had a small portion of each of the three entrees (with small accompanying sides) as well as one sample of each of the appetizers we were considering.

You won’t be eating three full meals but it will probably fill you up, so plan to not eat before hand - but you may want something else for a small dinner later on the night. Have fun!

Yes if they are anything like the tastings we did, they will definitely count as dinner!!

We did two tastings before deciding on a caterer, and they were both SO much food. Like ridiculous amounts of food. We tasted 10-12 hors d’oeuvres, some we’d picked in advance and some the caterer threw in for us to try, and 3 entrees (mini versions of chef stations) each time. As well as desserts. One of the caterers even gave us leftovers to take home.

My biggest advice is to pace yourself! Make sure you are really taking bites to *taste* and not just eat! Cause we were STUFFED haha. Also have fun! Tastings were def my favorite part of wedding planning so far!!

We go to ours Wednesday at 3:00, so I'll soon find out! But they offer every entree and appetizer they make, so I'm going to call it dinner! Are you taking a little notebook to make notes? I wonder if we can take pics as well.

We just had ours this past Saturday! We each had one of the 6 passed hors d’oeuvres, 3 flat breads (1 piece per flavor) and we shared the three entree options! We were full!!

Mine prepared the entire meal - so we left super full (and brought 3 people to taste 3 entrees). Have a fun evening! I loved our tasting!

****Update**** it went great! We tried 2 chicken entrees, steak and also a mushroom ravioli. Along with entrees we tried the meatballs, chicken tenders and franks in puff pastry (pigs in a blanket lol). It was all delicious! We had so much food we brought it home and will eat for days. We also decided on napkins, colors and centerpieces. Table clothes and napkins will be black.
