Tanning

Ashley, on April 6, 2021 at 11:24 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 9
Hey everyone! I’m wanting to have a nice tan before my wedding in July I am pretty pale and I burn easily. Is there any safe way to tan or any good products to use that won’t rub off?

I have never done spray tan or been in the tanning beds (which I’m pretty scared of lol)

I was talking with coworkers last night, and I have never been tanning so my info doesn't really count. That being said, I asked if I would tan in a tanning bed, if I don't tan from the sun. I was informed I would not. I'm super pasty white and just burn no matter how much sunscreen I use. I never get a tan. Lol.
I'm also terrified of melanoma so it doesn't bother me if I don't try to tan. 😂

    Yeah that’s me lol
I did try to tan last year and I was doing good for a little bit I burned a lot but after 2 weeks of just sitting/swimming outside I got a tan it’s just to painful. Ever since covid I’ve been inside and now I’m back to being pale. 😂

Definitely don’t go to the tanning bed and risk skin cancer for a one day event...or any event really. When self tanning at home, I usually use St. Tropez tanning mousse and I love it, however, getting sprayed by a professional is going to give you the most natural looking tan. I would recommend doing a trial run before your wedding week.

I'm in the same boat! I'm looking into a professional spray tan as well, as you would probably pay the same for a tanning package overall anayway!

I would try a spray tan in advance and if you like it you could get another one a few days before your wedding.

I would like to consider myself a fake tanning expert... I get spray tans at least one a month. I would recommend finding an airbrush tan artist near you and getting one now so you can see if you like the coloring. If you do decide to get one for the wedding go a couple days before. Ex: I am getting married on a friday and getting a spray tan the Wednesday before.
