Tanning

Has anyone ever done spray tanning? My wedding is in October and my fiancée has a strapless dress, but she works in construction and ALWAYS gets a farmers tan over the summer. Does anyone know how to even that out? We were thinking of getting a spray tan.

Spray tans can be great!! I suggest not using a booth spray tan. Go to a place where a person applies the tan. Just tell her to exfoliate the night before, dont wear a bra, and wear loose clothes for the rest of the day. Usually you have to wait 12 hours before showering, shes gonna look reallly dark but it goes away after the show. Then just make sure she moisturizes alot!!! I also suggest having her go for one beforehand to make sure she figures out how dark she wants to go and if she’ll like it. I love going for spray tans and it can really help evening out a tan!

You can spray tan but a few cons are that you need to
Let it dry , it will rub off on clothes and the smell .

I second her statement. I have never had a spray tan before so I tested it out before my bridal shower to make sure I liked it before the wedding. I loved it. I went super natural. Tanning 1

Really good advice here. Before getting a spray tan exfoliation is really important because the tan will absorb more wherever there is dry/dead skin and it will make the overall appearance look really blotchy, so definitely do not skip that step!

I'd definitely do a trial run before the wedding, so you know how it will look and can be comfortable with the person applying the tan and that they will do a good job.

Also keep in mind that even spray tans that are applied well can tend to transfer on clothing, especially if the person sweats. This means spray tan on your fiancee could end up on you or her dress. Good to think about when timing your formal portraits and if you plan to preserve, resell, or reuse her dress or your outfit.
