I’m not the type to really worry about tanning per se, and I’ve never gotten a fake tan. I have already enjoyed a couple lake trips and river floats this summer though, without thinking too much of it. I apply sunscreen pretty often but still ended up tanning a little bit after being out all day.
My issue with this is I now have tan lines from my bathing suit and a backless wedding dress. Any advice for evening this out a little? I’m a little nervous about getting a fake tan, so any experience and advice is appreciated! I feel like I’m stressing out about nothing, but I can’t shake the idea that it’s going to look bad 🤦🏻‍♀️

Can you just wear a strapless top for a couple weekends and let the sun even it out?

Talk to your makeup artist, I’m sure they have ways to even it out!

I would wear a strapless and have the sun even it.. roughly 20-30 minutes on your back 2-3 days would correct it.. and you shouldn't burn unless you are fair skinned. I have the same issue, but this is my plan to correct it.

There are a couple options! You could get a tanning membership and tan in a bed to even out your skin. You could also get spray tanned, however I would highly recommend going to a hand sprayer that personally sprays the tan for you. They can even out your tan and double up on areas that need more coverage rather than just getting the same saturation all over like a machine-operated spray tan. Another option is to see if your makeup artist can cover your tan lines!

Girl getting a spray tan was the best thing I ever did. I did this for engagement pictures and I felt gorgeous. Get a mobile spray tanner to come to you, they know what they are doing I promise! Good luck!
