Tan Lines from Bachelorette

Ashlee, on May 19, 2016 at 11:11 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11

Hi guys, have any of you thought about getting tan lines so close to the wedding via bachelorette party. I do not want to go somewhere cold just to avoid getting tan lines. I cannot wear a strapless bathing suit because my dress dips in the back, any suggestions or past experiences about beach bachelorette parties? I will probably have mine over a month before the wedding.

Lots of sunscreen and be sure to wear different straps everyday.

I have those same worries, especially since my wedding is at the end of summer. I plan on tanning regularly (I started this week) and hope for the best. If I do have a really uneven tan lines in the weeks before I'll probably get a spray tan like @Mrs. LMac suggests. I would say one month is enough time for the tan lines to go away.

Wear a really high spf sunscreen and reapply constantly. You can also get jackets that have an spf built in. I have several.

How easily/ dark do you tan? Unless you get very dark very easily, I think you'll be ok if you vary your straps, etc.

You could also talk to you photographer- if you're more concerned about your pro pics, in sure he or she can edit tan line issues away.

Why are you planning your bachelorette party 10 months in advance? This seems like something you don't need to be worrying about yet. I would suggest a lot of sunblock and a spray tan.

I tan pretty easy, I am partly Asian so I get really dark. I do not burn so that is not a worry. I was planning on letting it fade and then maybe tan a couple times before to attempt to even it out. I do not want to be like brown in my photos especially with my fiance being natural. I also like natural looks better.

I bought three different bathing suits with three different necklines and swapped them out all summer (one halter, one spaghetti strap, one racer back). Also if you are laying out just slip the straps down your shoulders a bit.

I tan extremely easily and very dark. I am planning to load up on the sunscreen and just try to mix up my shirts with different necklines. If you get tan lines you could exfoliate the area and that will help lessen the severity of the lines.

I'm doing my bachelorette party in July instead of August for this reason. I'm hoping my tan will fade some by the time the wedding gets here. I tan very easily.
