Taller than He

Embrace what your genes gave you! Clearly since you're getting married it's a non-issue for your FH. Stand and be proud. The last wedding I was in the bride was taller than the groom we took a photo of us (bride and bridesmaids) lifting him. We dang near died laughing. That photo was hilarious.

Yes. You should absolutely sit down in every photo. I don't see any other solution.

No, height doesn't define a relationship. You guys are who you are, embrace it! It is what it is, you're taller no biggie!

I mean, if I knew you were taller than your husband (and I assume the guests and people who will see these photos will) and I saw photos that were clearly staged to make you appear shorter...I'd a) wonder: "Is he really THAT insecure about his height?" which isn't fair to him if he's not, and b) laugh my ass off at how silly it is.

You can't change it, you might as well own it!

I mean, people who see you in real life will see that you're taller, you won't walk around crouching over to be shorter so why do it in your pictures? They will look great even if you are taller than him!

In my first wedding this was such a huge deal to my, now, ex. So, we stood on steps with him a step higher. It actually looked ridiculous in our pictures! Stand next to each other. Its natural.

Plus - a great photographer knows how to work those angles. Look at this pic - they look the same height because she put Kevin in the foreground.

I'm an inch taller than FH in heels. I'm 5'6", he's 5'10". Still wearing heels.

Just go with it. He loves you for you, you love him for him; don't change anything for a picture.

It obviously doesn't bother either of you, that much, if you're getting married... why let it start bothering you now? Or why start worrying about what people think now?
