I had 13 of each - high and low. The sweetheart table had the bridal party bouquets. Our florist said more visual interest is provided by using both high and low. Or if you want all tall, consider using 2 different sets/colors of flowers in them, for variety. (My sister used tall centerpieces, with all the same flowers, but there were only 10 tables).

Didn't you already post this? Anyways I like the look of tall centerpieces as long as they are above eye/head level, otherwise they block the other guests and it's hard to have conversations. Also from someone who works in the industry, I see ALOT of tall centerpieces being broken, by either guests removing them from the table and getting knocked over on the floor or just people bumping the table as the centerpiece falling over.

I'm doing a 50/50 split. We're thinking 13 tablea, 7 high and 6 low. I think, like they said above, it gives visual interest. All tall could be okay because most florists will make them 24" or taller so they are out of the line of sight for your guests. I should add the tall ones were more expensive than the shorter ones. Good luck

I absolutely LOVE tall centerpieces! But, they are more expensive. We have 15 tables so we're doing 7 tall and 8 short. Not only does it save money, but it will also add visual interest to the ballroom.

I also love tall! Also my venue ceiling is very tall and tall centerpieces are suggested. We are hacing a smaller wedding prob only 8-10 tables and have 2 styles of tall centerpieces 1/2 4-5 feet tall and 1/2 7-8 feet tall. Can't wait to see the sample from the florist. The taller ones will be in tall vases and the lower ones will be in gold boxes but similiar arrangements.

If you do both I heard someone recommend doing fake/silk flowers for the tall centerpieces & real ones for the lower ones. Can save some money with that!!

I prefer tall. But to save money I think half high half low looks nice also. I just think all low is underwhelming

I like lower so I can see over the table and not have to look around the centerpieces.

I did low centerpieces so that it didn't block guests from talking to each other and i liked the look of them. tall centerpieces are very pretty though.
