Tall Centerpiece Height

EML, on October 17, 2017 at 9:09 AM Posted in Planning 0 5

I am doing tall centerpieces for my wedding. I'm attaching a picture of what I've shown the florist I'm thinking. I'm going to order the vases because I'm going to glitter the outside of them. What I'm wondering is what height should I go with? I know I should ask my florist, another florist I talked to said to do at least 30" but the easiest size to find is 24". Have any of you done tall centerpieces? How tall were they? When I use measuring tape for 24" it looks tall enough especially since everything will be going up and not draping down....

I feel like 24 is a great height. Maybe 30 is better so if someone is sat behind they can see around?

We have been testing the heights of them and we have found 30 is great! We had one of our taller friends there and she even was able to have no problem seeing anything.

I think it honestly depends on the size of the room. If the room isn't massive or doesn't have super high ceilings, you can do 24 inches. Otherwise, if it's a few hotel ballrooms put together that has super tall ceilings, you might want to go with 30 inches so the centerpieces don't get lost in the massiveness of the room

This is a picture of where our wedding will be....the ceiling is extremely high and is all glass. 30" probably would be best I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with tall centerpieces at their weddings. It's a shame because the style trumpet vase in the picture basically doubles in price when you go from a 24" to a 30" at least when I've been able to find them that's what they do.

Needing a tall centerpiece to fill the room is a myth. Not a single guests is going to notice or comment "Boy, I'm glad she chose 30" vases. 24" vases would have been lost in here."

Your guests won't even see the centerpieces when they are sitting down, which will be the majority of the evening.
