Taking the Holidays Off?

I’m getting married in May, too! I pretty much took the last month and a half off because all of the big stuff was done and I was a bit burnt out. But I woke up Monday morning and was suddenly super excited to do wedding stuff again so here I am planning the tiny stuff!

I think is fine as long as you keep in touch with your emails in case vendors email you. I took time off here and there specially once it was all done. Is always healthy and makes you come back stronger. Enjoy the holidays!

I think that's totally fine! Honestly, I think a lot of vendors take a "break" from wedding stuff around this time too. They're finally done with peak wedding season and they have a little bit of a lull before the Christmas/New Years proposals create a wave of new potential customers.

We've had a long engagement, and planning for me goes in spurts. I always find the breaks to be refreshing!

I’m trying.. Wedding is June 27th and I finally collected all my stuff for my diy projects... so hopefully I can just put it out of my head till January, not sure if it’ll work though!

They are often not willing to talk more than a couple minutes to any but those they have contracts for, for weddings happening the next 10 weeks. They will all be more receptive, switching back to weddings from holiday things, after the beginning of January. You are right to point out, this may be a down time for them, as far as weddings are concerned
