Taco man?

I'm not that sure what a "taco man" is, but I'm assuming it's like a station. How many guests are you having? If this is a made to order kind of situation, I would opt for more than one station so that your guests aren't waiting for long periods of time. I think that or a food truck would be fine, as long as you're going for a very informal reception.

If it is more of a casual wedding, then I think that is a great idea! We have a taco guy at every party that we can! Lol Assuming they do the same thing ours does. They arrive early and they cook the meat right there. They have warming trays on their tables that keep all the meat hot and freshly grill the tortillas and fill them with whatever meat you choose. They keep cooking meat all night long to keep it fresh. They usually have a side table that has all of the fixings (salsas, sour cream, cabbage, cheese, etc).

To be honest, I think the taco guy works better than a taco truck. We have been to a few parties where the actual truck came and it was kind of a mess. They would take your order, give you a number, then you had to wait until they called it out. The table seems to run smoother for some reason.

I think a taco 🌮 truck / food truck would be awesome.

I’ve never heard of a “taco man” but I think it sounds awesome as I love tacos!!!!

We are the same and didn’t want traditional catering. I haven’t decided yet but we are either doing a wood fired pizza food truck with pizzas, salads, and a pasta station along with meatballs, or we are going to do food stations including a taco station, pasta station, sliders and mashed potato or tater tot station!

That all sounds so delicious!! We even discussed to getting in n out food truck

We are the same way. We are so not sit down meal type of people! We love to dance and drink and just have fun!! So we're having a nacho/taco bar! We are very excited

View Quoted Comment Definitely use someone who sets up like a caterer and not one who served out of the truck. Too slow and awkward for the guests. A good taco truck would have this type of set up for parties.

That's perfect! My husband's family has two food trucks and a restaurant and they do so many weddings! So fun and totally matches your vibe.

We ended up having our wedding at a restaurant but a few of our choices were bars/event spaces that were food truck ready.

I love the idea of a food truck. i think it's fun and food truck food is great! plus you can really get something that fits your wedding rather than your standard chicken and fish.
