I wouldn't use plastic table cloths unless you're having an extremely casual backyard BBQ type of event.

It depends on the formality of your wedding. We did cloth because our wedding was formal but plastic would be fine for a casual event.

Yes, if it's a VERY laid back I think plastic would be fine. I'm using cloth though because ours is a little more formal and I like the longer look. https://tableclothsfactory.com <-- this is where I bought mine.

Plastic would give off a much more casual vibe. If that's what you're going for then they'll work fine for you. We used cloth at ours since I liked the look better.

I plan on not using table covers for most of the tables. The tables look fine without, and it seems like an unnecessary expense.

We may do a cloth on the head table and the cocktail tables to spruce them up a little more.

Cloth. I've never seen plastic used at a wedding.

I despise plastic cloths, because they stick to your legs. There are nicer thicker paper ones. We are using cloth from Linentablecloth.com

I would totally avoid plastic table cloths. They are cheaper but it will take away from the formality of the event.

I think if you're doing a bbq or outside picnic event, plastic is fine. But otherwise, I would definitely go with cloth.

I agree with PP. If your wedding is casual then go with plastic but for a more formal event go with cloths. If you are getting your wedding catered they usually bring the table linens with them so I would speak to them about their options if you have a caterer.

We're using cloth; our venue is more on the formal side and plastic would just not look good at all. I also don't really like plastic table covers unless we're having a cookout or something of the sort.

Cloth! Plastic table clothes tend to rib and stretch. I also see plastic table clothes as more appropriate for a child's birthday, not a wedding.

So funny, I’m literally on their website now, looking for table runners! Were you happy with their quality & do you know if colors are true to their website photos?

    Cloth.

Plastic belongs at a kids birthday or a backyard BBQ at a holiday. Not a wedding.

Definitely cloth... I used to work at a kid’s birthday party place and they used plastic table cloths so maybe I just have that association haha, but I would feel like plastic was a little like a kid’s birthday party!

I'm doing cloth except on the food table. I'm doing a nacho bar and nacho cheese sounds horrible to deal with on a cloth.
