I am planning to have a receiving line directly after our ceremony. Reception and cocktail hour are at a separate venue. Any estimate on the amount of time we might expect with 100 guests? I'm not counting the wedding party as we will be spending the morning already- I'm talking about guests who are seated and coming through. Also curious if any one did table visits- about how long was that per table? We should have 13.

@Miranda I too have seen that. Even if we don't do table visits, our photog has said he does table photos either way which I think is a great momento especially for family members and older family members. There's just something about seeing them with big smiles at such a happy event.

We plan on doing table visits. As MsSkiToBe mentioned, we'll be scarfing down food and going to visit with everyone. I could care less about the food so it doesn't bother me. We will be having our photographer take pictures of us with each table so we have pictures of everyone.

Why would talking to people during dinner be awkward?? If I was sitting at their table we'd all be talking so I don't see the difference.
