Table Numbers/names

Karina, on February 2, 2020 at 11:05 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 8
Are any of you ladies doing table names instead of numbers? For instance, we thought about doing cities or towns that we’ve visited that is meaningful to us and name our tables after those (engagement, first vacation, first home etc). I also saw some cute ideas on Pinterest where at the back of the table card it has a “why it’s special or why we love it” fun fact. Is anyone doing something similar or just not using the usual numbers at all? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Yup! Our local reception was a swanky 60’s theme so each table had a photo and name of a famous era singer: Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr, Peggy Lee, etc. we got the frames at the $1 Store and my hubby printed the b/w photos from the web at work!

Love you location idea and putting info on “why we love it” on the back. Very personalized!

I’m a musician and each table was an instrument that I or someone in our family plays. People thought it was so cute.

My sisters wedding she did cards with her pets on it. They have a lot of pets and her wife is a elementary teacher that had classroom pets so they put little pictures with the pets name and the pet on each table. They had about 10-12 tables. I think it’s way cuter than just number if you find something that works for you

We did this! We got married at a vineyard, and we met at a beer festival. So, our table names were vineyards and breweries that we have traveled to & visited together! It’s such a fun idea and way more personal than a number!
