TABLE NUMBER HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

Jessica, on April 4, 2012 at 9:24 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 13

Hi everyone Smiley smile I am getting married on 8/17/12 and am trying to do something different when it comes to the table numbers at my wedding reception. I need to have 20 tables to be able to accomodate all our guests, and I really like the idea of using dates and numbers that are significant to my fiance and I. I have 13 of them done, but need 7 more and my brain cannot think of anymore! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Your parents birthdates, your birthdates, or other loved ones birthdates.

I named my tables after gems, I like the idea of naming tables rather than numbering them.

Other milestones in your life, high school graduation, college graduation, sweet 16 or quincenera, first trip together, day you met the parents. Trying to be creative here lol hope that helps a little.

Have you thought of names or are you sticking to numbers? Perhaps using things you like as well as numbers (aka favorite sports team, first date location, college/high school, pet names, colors)

I used Letters and each Letter stands for something. Our first movie we saw, our first trip (went to baseball hall of fame)...

I was thinking of doing something like that too, but dates/numbers seemed too hard, so i think i'm going more with just places and things and anything i feel like.

here were some number facts i was going to use:

distance between where you live vs where fh lives

distance between your hometown and your home country/state if not the same

number of sports games or some event you attended together

number of kids you want to have

number of movies you've watched together ( estimate ), similar to sports games

number of days/months/years between your ages

number of cities you've visited together

number of years you guys have been together

    age of your dog

number of days left before your wedding ( 0 )

how long you guys will be married ( infinity )

    number of guests

number of out of town guests

number of rooms in your house

    hth!

    ~first kiss?

~first shared phone number (last 4 digits)?

~year you plan to have a child in? (FH and I think it'd be cool to have a kid in 2020 lol)

~I don't know about your license plates where you live, but Alaska's standard ones have XXX-123 - maybe use that number

    ~Favorite TV channel?

~did you meet in high school? the grades you were in when that happened

~your favorite number (fh's friend has a weird number, I couldn't even begin to tell you what it is right now, but he knows it)

    ~birth year
