Hello brides/grooms!

Officially 100 days away TODAY! I can't believe it. One of the few things that I had in mind from before I was engaged was the idea of changing up table numbers to table "names". We don't have a specific theme for our wedding, but it's ended up being very hometown focused (both FH and I were born and raised in the city we're getting married in) with all local food, Richmond imagery, etc. My thought for the table "numbers" was to do street names. All significant places for us like the streets we grew up on, streets from dates of ours, etc. However! Our wedding is pretty big. As of now, we'd need roughly 30-ish table numbers. Is that too big to do something like this? I know with a lot of tables, seeing them in numerical order helps people find them faster. Let me know your thoughts!

Hi alexisdemetra! As a fellow Virginian, I love this idea!! I think it's such a cute way to incorporate your hometown into the wedding! I have a thread right now that deals with Virginia weddings and would love for you to come share some of your ideas with other Virginia weddings! I'll link it below Smiley smile

Could you assign a table number to each street name? It's a cute idea but might get difficult to find the table - unless you have a map they can look at. But it would be easier to just write a number to code the table next to the street name - E.g. 1. Richmond Street 2. Virginia Avenue (no I don't know any Richmond street names lol!)

I think it is a good idea, make it more like a "address"

I think it could be a little more difficult with so many but I also think the puzzle of finding the table sounds fun to me. Like if I was a guest... it would almost be an adventure and a good conversation piece. For locals and out of towners.
