Table lost

Ok so having postpone everything again is always fun and exciting. But it does give me some more time to work on details and plan things a bit better I guess. So I am trying to think how to do the seating. Originally it was going to be seat yourself but looking at it it may not work. Especially since when talking to a few they asked where they would be seated and I told them at a table in a chair I hope. I don’t think it was appreciated. So since having to delay again e are going to have to reprint and redo a lot of things. Some I will just leave with old days cause to be honest most people won’t even notice it. But my delema is

    Ok so my dilemma is how should I set up the seating chart. I have a huge piece of glass and was going to write names on it in a layout of tables. But I have to figure out how to support it. I have both he glass by itself and one inside a sliding solid door. I was thinking making a base for it. But need thoughts and suggestions

    It might be easier to assign the tables numbers, instead of showing layouts. Not everyone is good at translating visual maps, and numbers also allow you to list names instead of trying to crowd them onto a table.

    Once all this is over, you might find something super cute at Michael's or another craft store, to help support your glass.

    I agree with PP, a visual layout of the tables with the names written in could potentially cause a lot of confusion and also not be as visually appealing. I’ve seen people do assigned tables in 1 of 2 ways.

    1) they list peoples names alphabetically with their table number next to it (Anderson, John: 1, Bell, John: 3, etc)
    2) they list the table number and then all the people seated at that table underneath (Table 1: John Anderson, Jane Anderson, etc;
    Hopefully this helps!
