Table centerpieces

Stephanie, on February 12, 2021 at 5:32 PM Posted in Planning 0 10
Is it weird to have different centerpieces on each table? I’m thinking to have the same color scheme but change the actual centerpieces (pillar candles on some tables, small vases with flowers on others). Will this look unorganized? I don’t like the idea of having 20+ items of the same decor after the wedding

We will have three different types of centerpieces. They will all coordinate but be different styles/sizes. I like the variety and think it looks good aesthetically!

I like Stacey's idea of having maybe 3 or 4 different centerpieces instead of a different one on every single table. I think that would bring everything together more. But there's definitely nothing wrong with all of your tables not having the same centerpiece.

I've seen weddings with same color scheme and theme (in this case books and pictures) but using different items. It looked cute.

That’s a great idea! I love thrifting so I thought it would be a good (and relatively cheap) way to get table centerpieces but I do like the idea of sticking to 2-3 different types so they mesh together wel

I had 10 tables. Half had upcycled wine bottles with votives and half had a large candle with votives. It looked fine. I think it’s ok to mix it up with a few (2-3) different centerpieces but I think each table being different is a lot.

Not weird at all. Makse sure that the flames are completely enclosed. You can easily have different centerpieces without looking disorganized.

I actually thought the exact same thing. We are going to do everything the same except we have geometric terrariums each a different shape on each table to break up everything. We plan on selling most of it but just in case I would rather not have 10 of the exact same thing. At least if they’re different we can decorate the house with them.

We had three colors of flowers, but only two on any given table.

It's very common to have different centerpieces on each table, but it always looks better if they cohere in some way - half have one type, half have the other, etc.
