Also looking for pictures and ideas! We are having our wedding in a ballroom in a hotel and have the option of a small round or 6 foot table on risers.

We’re doing a sweetheart table so no one is separated from their significant others and I don’t mind not being constantly surrounded by people.

I’m doing a sweetheart table so our bridal party can sit together with their families. Plus it gives you some time to eat and converse alone.

We're doing a sweetheart table Smiley smile Planning on having a garland of greenery and white flowers along the front with a "Mr. and Mrs." sign, some candles in cylinder vases, and my bridal bouquet as our "centerpiece."

We did a sweetheart table. I prefer this over head tables so the wedding party can sit with their SO and the couple can have some time alone enjoying their dinner together. We used a half circle table and decorated it similarly to our guests' tables with an ivory silk tablecloth, garlands and candles. Our florist also framed the table with a couple of large floor lanterns.

I had a sweetheart table. I wanted our wedding party to enjoy with their dates and significant others and I wanted that solo time with my husband. I think it looks more clean and it gave us time to chat while eating and enjoying ourselves. This was ours.

We are! It would be too weird to seperate people from those they are bringing in our case. Should be perfect!

We're doing one. I haven't figured out how to decorate it yet though. I know it'll have the same centerpiece as the other tables, possibly just larger

Yes. We’re doing a sweetheart table. But we also don’t have a bridal party so it makes it easy.

We’re also thinking of having two small tables on either side of us... one for my parents and one for his parents.

I am getting married in December of this year and we will be doing a sweet heart table. Also, my family owns a wedding facility, I have basically been working weddings for the last 18 years ha! I have found that almost every wedding I have worked in the last couple of years has used a sweet heart table as the head table. I attached a picture of one of our setups recently. Its not a ball room but its a large room and should help with some ideas. The first is a sweet heart table where the dancing was, they used a small rectangular card table. The other picture is where the dining was, which they used a small round table.

My wedding guests is more than half family, wed need to put like 60% of our guests at the head if we did that!

It is a big decision. We also have a big family but I wanted a small intimate wedding and I envision more than just a wedding. I actually got to enjoy and hangout with all the guests all weekend long. It was an unbelievable experience.
