Sweetheart table

Alex, on February 29, 2020 at 2:28 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 1 13
Hey guys! 👋🏻
Seeking ideas/inspiration on sweetheart table decoration. Our color is peacock (or teal) and all of our tablecloths will be that color, along with fancy white cloth napkins. Seeking ideas on sweetheart table decoration, the more budget-friendly the better! Photos please if you have them 🤞🏻

You could use a different material tablecloth to make the sweetheart table stand out – such as satin, velvet or sequins. Or you could use another color overlay on top of the teal. Cheapest way to add decor would be to set your bouquet at the front of your table. You could also add “Mr. & Mrs” wooden cutouts on each side of your bouquet. They sell them super cheap at craft stores like Michael’s, and you can paint them any color you like, add glitter, etc.

Yep, a sweetheart table is used in place of a head table. It is just a small table for two. A lot of couples are choosing to do them instead of head tables so they do not have to break up couples in the wedding party. Everyone I have talk to you that has done a sweetheart table has been so glad they did, because it gave them a little alone time together at the reception. And it ensures you will not be disturbed while eating your dinner – you hear so many couples say people didn’t leave them alone long enough to even eat at their own wedding!

Yes! So instead of opting for the wedding party, or parents, it’s just the couple.
