Sweetheart table- where do we sit

Is there proper etiquette on which side the bride and groom sit on? We will be seated in front of the dance floor, with 4 tables in each side of the dance floor for our guests. Of the 8 guest tables, 5 are my side of the guests and 3 are FHs. So I will have tables of friends and family on both sides of the dance floor. Just curious of the best way to sit everyone including our table.

With a month to go these are the little details we’re finalizing!

Nope, not at all! Our venue also has a sweetheart table, and from the pics I've seen it seems that couples seem to alternate which sides the bride and groom sit on.

I don’t believe it matters, if you want to sit on the same side that is 100% your guests than you can. I’ll be sitting on the left as I always sit on the left of my FH and it would be weird not to

I don't know if there's etiquette but I see myself sitting on the right side (left from the guests' perspective) so that's where I'll be. Lol. Same as where I'm standing for the ceremony.

I don't think it matters. Although keep in mind, if you want to use any signage that says "Mr and Mrs," it would probably makes sense for you each to be sitting on your receptive sides per the signage.
Mr and Mrs on back chairs then (when facing the sweetheart table) groom on right and bride on left.
Mr and Mrs on front of table then (when facing the sweetheart table) groom on left and bride on right.
Doesn't HAVE to be this way, but it makes the most sense, you know? I'm also super OCD about these little details, haha
