Sweetheart table overlay and linens!

MrsRies&Love, on June 30, 2017 at 3:22 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 14

I have to show off our sweetheart table overlay! Our colors are burgundy, blush, gold, and slate. We chose a navy chiavari bonnet and navy napkins. The cake table will also be navy. Heavy on the flowers to help brighten it up for our spring wedding. We're adding the gold lacy overlay to the blush tables (half dinner tables will be burgundy and half are blush with lace). Larger center pieces on the burgundy! What do you think?

Each is very pretty, but honestly I think they are way too much all together. I would suggest a more cohesive look. You have *seven* different colors and styles here.

I would skip burgandy table linens for a spring wedding. It's too dark and heavy. I'd keep any burgandy as just an accent color. Maybe burgandy napkins on the blush tables.

I looove the lace overlay!! Do you have enough to use it on the blush and maroon tables? or was it too contrasting on the maroon? Either way, I love it!!

I agree that it is a little too many options. I love the lace overlay and the blush, but think that the burgundy is too much. I agree with @Mel about maybe making the burgundy an accent color, maybe in the centerpieces.

I think that once you have all these together, and then add centerpieces on them, especially with color, it will be overwhelming with all the different colors.

Thanks for the honest feedback, but I'm not looking for a uniform look. I would be concerned if the colors were drastically different shades and textures, but this combo in-person was lovely.

All the colors are nice. But I think maybe too much color? It is a spring wedding I think u said. But maybe not too many different color linens.

But the lace w blush is very nice and fancy.

Way too many colors for me, it doesn't feel consistent

I think the burgundy throws it off, I really like the blush and lace but the burgundy doesn't flow as well since it's so dark.
