I am torn on what to do? Any thoughts? What did you do?

Were doing sweetheart. I like the idea of having a few semi private moments together. I got a cute wooden Mr and Mrs sign to put on the table too.

Sweetheart table. That was our venue's "standard" way of doing it and it was what they recommended so that we could have some privacy. Honestly, we really didn't want a head table anyway so it worked out for us!

We're doing family table. So we'll sit with our immediate families and BP will sit with their families/guests at the guest tables. Kind of a compromise. Our table will be in the middle and the guest tables will be surrounding us.

We did a sweetheart table so it would be more intimate and the bridal party could sit where they wanted

I have heard to many people say they felt like they were not part of the party at a sweetheart table. we are doing a large line of farm tables and we will be in the center of the table.

I guess a non traditional head table for us (maybe a kings table?) I'll have to do more research but basically our bridal party and their dates will be sat together with us. We didn't like the intimacy of the SH table it made it feel like we weren't part of the party.

I am leaning toward having a sweetheart table, and letting my WP sit with their friends, SOs, etc. I like the idea of having a table to ourselves.

@ OG Alecia - same. Doing a kings table. We have a small bridal party (1 person each side) so we can fit their SOs and all of our immediate family at the table.

We did a King's table down the middle of the room. Wedding party SOs were included. I greatly dislike the traditional head table. Just because that has "always been done" at the weddings you've attended doesn't mean you have to continue with an outdated tradition.
