Sweetheart table for engagement party?

Our engagement party is happening next month. My question is... Should my fiancé and I be sitting at a sweetheart table or with our bridal party? Thanks

    At our engagement party, my FMIL coordinated everything and set us up at a sweetheart table because our engagement party was held in a more formal setting. It depends on your setting and your preference. If it's less formal I would say just sit at a table with your family.

    Secondly, I've never been to a formal engagement party where people were seated at tables. I think it would be better to just sit with your families.

    We're having a sweetheart table because that is what is being provided for us. Either way is great in my opinion.
