Supposed to rain for our engagement photos :(

I'm so sorry, hopefully it stays away but if not, the rain can make for beautiful moody pictures too! Think The Notebook 😅

Can you postpone to another weekend if you wake up and it's raining? I'm supposed to get my engagement photos done this Saturday as well and heard rain for Sunday but I'm in NJ.

See of they can change the date and of not, work with what you got! If this happens on your wedding day you know you can t change it. Half of the weddings I've been to it rained. It still works.

I’m sorry it’s suppsoed to rain. My photographer shooted a couple in the rain and they turned out amazing. Always look at the bright side they will be different and beautiful

We had rain during our shoot and the photographer brought a huge umbrella. I like some of the photos where you can see the raindrops around us.

I know my photographer personally so I’m sure he’d be alright with doing a different day if we wanted, but part of me just doesn’t want to wait anymore to get them done! Idk I guess we’ll just see what the day is like when it comes. Maybe we can push it to Sunday if it’s really pouring

We had rain during our photos. It let up for about 20. minute and we got some great "dry" pictures as well as some wet ones. It wasn't pouring though. At the last location of our shoot the weather provided a great coat of fog and made for wonderful pictures near a bridge.

If you go through with the photos in the rain I would suggest shoes that won't soak up the water! mine did and made for frozen feet! I would also suggest being careful with your hair. I paid to get mine done and before we started to shoot it was ruined.

I understand your pain. We rescheduled our engagement session 3 times before we finally got it done... and even on that day it was a bit hazy and misty. The pictures still turned out great and it was a fun day! Good luck 😊

Can you maybe just push it a week out?

We just took our engagement photos (hahaha we are slackers) but the original day we picked it was no joke above 90 degrees with insane humidity and we wanted our pups in the photos no way we could pull that off in that that temp but we were able to move them back a week!

Aw, I'm sorry to hear this Genevieve! I hope everything works out and you all are able to get your photos taken this weekend at the beach! Don't worry; just try creating an alternative plan for another day, if possible! Hang in there!

It could change. How flexible is your photographer w/ reacheduling? Our forecast was thunderstorms everyday up until the very day when we took our photos lol I was ao hurt. By that morning it totally changed & it was sunny the whole day (blessings lol) my photographer called me thar morning & asked if we’d still be on board for our outsids location. You still have time. We took ours 9 months in..but we also don’t get married until next August.
