The new WW is absolutely awesome. I love everything about it. I especially love not being able to see everyone's wedding date. I especially especially lovvvve logging in to the app EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Happy happy joy joy.

View Quoted Comment Honestly? I'm undecided. I'm in someone's wedding this spring, so I'm still kind of in wedding-mode. Before these changes, I had already noticed that some weeks I'm really active on here and others I'm too busy or just not as motivated to be on as much. I'm going to probably be on sporadically from Christmas to New Year's and reevaluate once we're no longer in holiday vacation mode and I have a better idea of what's going on here. I just don't see how restricting our topics of conversation and prohibiting honest criticism will do to give current and future engaged couples the same level of community and solid advice that was available while I was planning, and that makes me sad.

It is so hard to navigate the forums-posts from 6 years ago are popping up, and the censorship is well it's no bueno

The forums have gotten really sarcastic due to the changes. Which is why you see so many “sunshine and rainbow” and other creepily happy and positive posts. The sarcasm is the only thing I enjoy about these forums now. I always get a good laugh

Because it's NWR, which is a no no. It's also questioning the new regime, which, again, is a no no. Pretty much every thread I've seen asking questions about the new forums has been taken down after a while. Even ones created by people like WW Jo and WW Lynnie (explaining new features of the forums) have gone because people started asking too many questions.

I didn’t realize vendors were gone but I think that’s really sad because there was a lot of useful information provided by the vendors. Also, why can’t we see everyone’s wedding date? That often helped with responding to questions.

Yeah everything pretty much sucks now!! The format sucks, the app is even worse, they took away super useful things (vendors ability to comment, NWR posts, likes, ability to edit or hide posts, etc). Basically... they took the community out of the community forums. It’s so bad now. I find myself logging on more and more rarely. And it’s only been one day.

Also... if anyone is leaving WW, is there any other website similar that you might be transferring your attention to? Anywhere better to get your wedding related fix?
