Sunglasses and sandalwood fans for outdoor summer ceremony

I’d say this might be more of a know your crowd thing but I’d just go with the fans. Everyone we know brings their own sunglasses to weddings (or just to be in the car in general) so sunglasses would be a waste in my opinion.

Everyone owns sunglasses. I would love a fan though and definitely reuse it.

Handheld fans are awesome! I would go with some of those at the least. If people choose to use one they will take it with them and reuse it.



My sister buys small handheld paper fans in bulk. Back when we were going to in-person D&D conventions, she would bring a bunch and just give them away to people we met who were overheating in the packed rooms. Such a lifesaver and mine lives in my travel bag now.

We got fans (at Oriental Trading) for our outdoor wedding - they were great (and definitely used!). I think I would avoid sunglasses - people often have style and fit issues, just my thought though.

Our wedding is outside and I got raffia fans for the guests. I think the fans itself are perfect and mine will double as favors. If they get left behind, I will definitely use them lol

If you’re doing an outdoor wedding, the fans would definitely be appreciated. You can do either cheaper ones from orientalist trading or put your wedding details on it (like a paddle fan).

Yes to the fans. But I’m biased! 😉 We’re using sandalwood fans and placing one on each chair for our beach wedding. I realize that the guys probably don’t use them. But they’re only $36 for 72 fans from a local vendor. So, it’s cool.
